As stated in the about page we guarantee a good time. We don't like skunks or eggs! How ever it is called fishing not catching. There can be a day here and there that the stars just don't align, for what ever reason. While the idea of a guided trip is solely paying for information, and you will get what you pay for, it's more fun to learn while fish are doing their part. On All Day Trips if we do not put a fish in the boat I will schedule another trip of equal value free of charge. This guarantee is not available on half day trips!
TRIP INFO & REQUIREMENTS
A $50.00 deposit will be required to secure your booking. Deposit is non-refundable unless trip is cancelled 3 days prior to trip or Cancelled by Captain and not rescheduled to a mutually agreed date. Should an uncontrollable reason arise to cancel within the 3 day window of your trip please contact us as soon as possible so we can work out an agreeable solution.
Payment can be made via Cash or Credit Card. All deposits will be invoiced thru Paypal or in person in cash. If paying trip in full with credit card, it must be done thru Paypal 24 hrs before date of trip. If paying remainder in cash, payment is due on the day of the trip.
Please check the weather forecast and dress accordingly, also keep in mind conditions can change rapidly so be prepared.
Per insurance requirement please cover as much skin as possible, accidental hooking's are greatly reduced when the hook has clothing to snag instead of skin. When trolling we have as many as 30 hooks flying around in the boat at a time, it can be hectic and dangerous. No bikinis or short shorts! I highly recommend pants and a long sleeve PFG type shirt that offers SPF protection as well. They are much cooler and protect from the sun also. This is a requirement, boarding will not be allowed at the dock if not properly dressed.
Sunscreen, shades, and a hat are highly recommended.
Cancellations due to weather are solely the Captains decision. Should a cancellation due to weather arise, trip will be rescheduled.
Everyone 16 and over going on the trip is required to have a valid NC or Va inland fishing license. A NC or Va license covers you anywhere on Kerr Lake.
Bring any food or drinks you will need for the day.
All tackle and gear used will be provided.
Bring a cooler and leave in your vehicle to transfer kept fish into at the end of the trip. We do not offer fish cleaning.
If you plan to bring a child under the age of 13, I need the weight of the child when you book. They are required by law to wear a life preserver anytime the boat is underway. I need a weight to insure a proper fitting device is on board the day of the trip.
